Date set for funeral of murdered teenager Kayleigh Haywood
The funeral of 15-year-old Kayleigh Haywood will be held on Monday 18 January, her family have announced.
The service will take place at St Laurence church in the family's home village of Measham.
The body of the Ashby School pupil was found in a field in Ibstock in November last year - five days after she was last seen outside Ibstock Community College.
Her mother Stephanie Haywood revealed the funeral date in a message posted on a public Facebook page set up in her daughter's memory.
Stephen Beadman, 28, of George Avenue, Ibstock, has been charged with Kayleigh's rape and murder.
He appeared by video link at Leicester Crown Court last month, where the date for the trial was fixed for June 7 at Nottingham Crown Court.
Luke Harlow, 27, also of George Avenue has been charged with grooming and two counts of sexual activity with a child.
Both defendants were remanded back into custody.
