Passengers lucky to escape after car ends up in ditch off M40

The occupants of a car had an extremely lucky escape after the vehicle they were travelling in ended up upside down in a water filled ditch.

The incident occurred on the M40 Northbound, between junctions 11 and 12, Avon Dassett at around 4.50am.

An ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene along with an ambulance crew from South Central Ambulance Service.
