The M1 northbound is closed due to an overturned lorry across the central reservation between junctions 46 and 47.

One lane is also closed on the Southbound carriageway. Surrounding routes are also expected to be affected.

There is a lane closed on the M621 westbound on an exit slip road which is causing very slow traffic.

The A629 Halifax Road northbound is closed which is causing heavy traffic due to an accident. One vehicle was involved between A643 Lindley Moor Road (Ainley Top Roundabout) and Elland Riorges Link / Lowfields Way (Lowfields Business Park Roundabout).

The A1 is closed in both directions in North Yorkshire after a lorry fire.

The motorway is shut between the A6136 (Catterick) and A66 (Scotch Corner) after the vehicle, which is carrying straw, caught fire this morning.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service are on the scene, and officers say the driver is safe and well.

Diversions are in place, but drivers are being advised to avoid the area.

The M1 in West Yorkshire has now re-opened northbound after a lorry jackknifed this morning.

The incident happened on J42 at Lofthouse.

Work is now taking place to repair the barrier.
