Three arrested over Heckmondwike arson attack

Police have made three arrests, after an arson attack on a house in West Yorkshire.

A woman and her three children escaped the fire in Heckmondwike on Sunday morning, but the eldest remains seriously ill in hospital.

Three people, including a 17-year-old girl, are in custody on suspicion of attempted murder.

A man and woman, both 22 and from Wakefield are in custody, along with a 17 year old girl from Batley.
