Former Hull FC player leaves hospital for first time to attend fundraiser in his honour
The former Hull FC rugby player Jansin Turgut has left hospital for the first time to attend a fundraising day held in his honour.
The 23 year old was left fighting for his life in hospital after falling from a three-story airport car park in Ibiza in May. He suffered serious injuries including fractures all over his body.
He was flown back to Hull where he has been recovering with the help and support of family and friends.
Jansin says he does not want to talk just yet about the events leading up to the accident - but he wanted to thank everyone who has supported him on his road to recovery.
