Emmerdale stars play in Bradley's charity match
Emmerdale stars, X Factor contestants and former professional footballers have turned out to play in a charity football match in Wakefield this afternoon.
The event, at Ossett Town's ground in Wakefield, was organised by Darren Powell in memory of his friend Michael Kew, who died aged 40 after a battle with cancer in 2015.
Half of the proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Support and the other half to Bradley’s Fight, the charitable fund set up by the Lowery family of Hartlepool in a bid to fight their son's cancer.
Five-year-old Bradley himself was invited to come to the game as mascot - the day after he was mascot for his favourite team, Sunderland but wasn't well enough to make the journey and was be represented by his campaign manager instead.
