School shut since Boxing Day floods to re-open
A school in Calderdale which has been closed since last year's Boxing Day floods will re-open today.
Scout Road Academy in Mytholmroyd has been shut since the hillside started to slide under the force of floodwater.
Asbestos was discovered in a disused tip uncovered when the floods caused the landslip.
That meant that pupils at the school have been taught elsewhere, while work to remove asbestos took place.
