Barnsley man home after 'the scariest time' of his life

Craig Lindley from Barnsley who fell seriously ill in Thailand where he had gone to attend a friend's wedding is finally back home.

An insurance mix up meant he wasn't covered leaving him facing huge medical bills. Friends and family back in South Yorkshire started a fundraising campaign to bring him home.

Craig spoke to ITV Calendar last week from his hospital bed in Thailand and said he thought he was insured. He warned other travellers to make sure they are properly covered to avoid a similar ordeal to the one he has had.
