How many people have died from coronavirus in Cumbria and south of Scotland?
As of Tuesday 28 April, figures show 327 people have died in the ITV Border region after contracting coronavirus.
Below are the figures broken down by NHS trust:
Dumfries and Galloway
Care homes and NHS Dumfries and Galloway have recorded 34 deaths in the region as a result of Coronavirus.
An update on the number of deaths resulting from COVID-19 will be made to the coronavirus section of the website on a weekly basis.
Scottish Borders
Figures show there have been 41 coronavirus-related deaths in the Scottish Borders since the outbreak started. Three of which died in care homes.
A nurse who worked at Borders General Hospital sadly died on Wednesday after being treated for the virus.
North Cumbria
117 people with coronavirus have died in hospitals run by the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust since the outbreak began.
This includes the West Cumberland Hospital and the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
South Cumbria and North Lancashire
144 people have died due to, or related to, coronavirus in hospitals run by the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
Cumbria, Northumberland, and Tyne and Wear NHS Trust
Seven people have lost their lives due to coronavirus in facilities run by Cumbria, Northumberland, and Tyne and Wear NHS trust.
They provide mental health, learning disability and neurological care for people across the north of England.
