Carlisle United's Hallam Hope transfers to rivals Swindon Town

Carlisle United forward Hallam Hope has joined League Two leaders Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee.

The 25 year old's contract with the Blues was due to expire this summer. Head coach Chris Beech said the move is "a good deal" for the Cumbrians.

Hope - who was the club's top scorer last season - follows teenage defender Jarrad Branthwaite in leaving Brunton Park during the January transfer window.
