Man remains in intensive care after stabbing in Wigton
A man remains in intensive care after a multiple stabbing in Wigton, Cumbria.
Three people were left with serious injuries after a man with a knife stabbed them at around 1:50pm on 31 July.
Two men were assaulted on King Street.
One man is in a serious condition in Blackpool Victoria Hospital, while the other has non-life-threatening injuries and is in a stable state in Preston.
A woman was assaulted on Church Street, she was treated locally by the North West Air Ambulance Service.
Detectives investigating an incident are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage who is in the area at the time to come forward.
A man, 49, is being held in police custody on suspicion of attempted murder and wounding with intent.
