An unlikely candidate will be running in the general election next month.

'Mr Fish Finger' who goes by 'MrFishFingerMP' on Twitter, has announced that he received formal notice of candidacy for the 2017 general election.

The fish finger will contest for the Westmorland & Lonsdale seat, against LibDem leader Tim Farron. He will not be running against a Green Party candidate, since they announced they will not be running for four parliamentary seats in Cumbria.
