Green Party to stand down several seats in Cumbria

The Green Party has announced they will not be running for four parliamentary seats in June's General Election.

Jill Perry had been selected to fight the Workington seat, Helen Davison for Carlisle, Jack Lenox for Copeland and Ian Rodham for the Westmorland and Lonsdale constituency.

The decision is aimed at giving other parties a better chance against the Conservatives.
