Man's appeal to find hero who saved his dad's life
A man whose father was involved in a major traffic accident on the M6 has appealed on Facebook to find the hero who saved his dad's life.
More than 50,000 people have already shared the appeal.
Jason Dann's message reads: "At around 6am yesterday morning, my father was involved in a serious road traffic collision on the M6 near to junction 34 Carnforth."
"My father has escaped this collision with only minor injuries all thanks to the heroism of one unknown driver who risked himself to pull my dad from the wreckage through the windscreen!"
"My family and I all wish to track this person down so that we can thank him for his bravery in the face of danger and for making sure my father is still here to fight another day! I ask all my friends to share this post in a hope that this person will see this and contact me! You are a true hero!"
