M6 Motorway

A Cumbrian MP says a junction on the M6 is likely to become safer after the installation of new road improvements.

Five people, including two children, died after a two vehicles collided on the M6 on 15 October 2024

The HGV crashed through the barrier and plummeted off the motorway bridge, with emergency crews needing specialist equipment to rescue the driver.
