Council promises foster care investigation
There are calls for an investigation into claims Social Services in Norfolk wrongly removed vulnerable children from foster carers.
The calls come after the County Council branded inadequate in an Oftsed inspection two years ago - suspended a member of staff over allegations he removed a child from care without evidence of deliberate harm. The Norfolk Foster Carers' Association Carers claim there have been dozens of similar cases in the last four years. The council has promised a thorough investigation.
Cup replay rescheduled
Cambridge United's FA Cup replay with Manchester United will be played a week tonight, Tuesday February 3.
Sale of match tickets will start tomorrow morning. If Cambridge manage to win at Old Trafford they will visit either Preston or Sheffield United in Round Five. Meanwhile the U's return to League Two action tonight against Dagenham and Redbridge, with a possible start for winger Harrison Dunk.

Cambridge to spend Man Utd replay money on revamping stadium
After earning a draw against Manchester United in the FA Cup, club chairman Dave Doggett says the money made will be spent on revamping their stadium.
The U's are set to invest the money into the R Costing's Abbey ground, including things such as toilets and tea bars. They also announced plans last week to create a new sports village on the outskirts of the city.
It is thought the mid-table League Two club will net around £1.5million from a mixture of TV money and gate receipts, thanks to their FA Cup exploits.
Chairman Dave Doggett said he's hoping the money can be used to help the club in the long-term, rather than short-term ambitions.
In an interview he said "There's a lot of speculation about how much money the club will be getting but it certainly looks like it's going to be in excess of £1.5 million."
"We obviously need to take stock of where we are but our ambition for some time now has been to improve the stadium.
"It needs modernising and the facilities need to be fit-for-purpose, and I think it's fair to say Friday's performance has been a game changer for the club.
"It's certainly a far cry from the situation we found ourselves in a few years ago where we were reporting losses of around £400,000."
