Two more coronavirus patients die in hospitals in the Anglia region
The NHS has reported that a further two patients have died with Covid-19 in hospitals in the Anglia region.
The patients died at Kettering General Hospital on 23rd July and at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust which runs the Lister Hospital in Stevenage on 26th July.
The total number of patients dying in the hospitals in the Anglia region is now 4,146 and the total number of deaths in all settings, including care home, hospices and in the community as well as in hospitals is 5,995.
Weekly data released by the Office of National Statistics on Tuesday has been added and the total figure includes people who have died without a positive test for Covid-19 but where the condition was declared on death certificates.

The UK coronavirus fatalities has risen to 45,878 after a further 119 reported deaths of patients who tested positive for Covid-19 in hospitals, care homes and the wider community, as of 5pm on Monday.
Separate figures published by the UK’s statistics agencies show there have now been more than 56,400 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
The number of people testing positive for coronavirus has risen by 465 in the past week. That represents an increase of 1.6%, which is in line with the national rise.
There have been larger percentage increases in Peterborough where there have been 45 more confirmed cases in the past week (up 3.2%) and in Luton with an additional 39 cases (up 2.6%).

Cambridgeshire - 3,723 cases - an increase of 83 (2.3%) in the past week
Essex - 6,916 cases - an increase of 101 (1.5%) in the past week
Hertfordshire - 4,255 cases - an increase of 51 (1.2%) in the past week
Milton Keynes - 871 cases - an increase of 7 (0.8%) in the past week
Norfolk - 2,894 cases - an increase of 24 (0.8%) in the past week
Northamptonshire - 3,470 cases - an increase of 82 (2.4%) in the past week
Rutland - 100 cases - an increase of 3 (3.1%) in the past week
Suffolk - 2,670 cases - an increase of 30 (1.1%) in the past week
