Eight more coronavirus patients die in hospitals in the Anglia region
The NHS has reported that a further eight patients have died with Covid-19 in hospitals in the Anglia region.
On Tuesday, the NHS reported that a further six patients had died in hospitals in the Anglia region following 13 deaths announced over the weekend.
The total number of patients dying in the hospitals in the Anglia region is 4,114 and the total number of deaths in all settings, including care home, hospices and in the community as well as in hospitals is 5,940.
The total figure includes people who have died without a positive test for Covid-19 but where the condition was mentioned on death certificates.

The hospitals where patients have died in the past few days are the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, Southend Hospital and Northampton General.
The NHS also included in Wednesday's figures, three patient deaths at Kettering Hospital in Northamptonshire which happened in May.
Some parts of the Anglia region are much more badly affected by the coronavirus pandemic than others.
Five places in the region were among the twenty in England with the highest number of new Covid-19 cases seen last week - Peterborough, Luton, Northampton, Kettering and Braintree.
The Press Association has analysed figures from Public Health England for the week ending 11th July and produced tables to show the number of new cases per 100,000 population in each area.
These were the highest figures in the Anglia region:
Peterborough - 32 cases per 100,000 (up from 14 the previous week)
Luton - 23 cases per 100,000 (up from 16 the previous week)
Northampton - 21 cases per 100,000 (up from 19 the previous week)
Kettering - 21 cases per 100,000 (up from 16 the previous week)
Braintree - 20 cases per 100,000 (up from 3 the previous week)
East Northamptonshire - 15 cases per 100,000 (up from 10 the previous week)
Harborough - 13 cases per 100,000 (down from 15 the previous week)
St Albans - 12 cases per 100,000 (down from 15 the previous week)
The figures in the Anglia region are still well below the level of coronavirus cases being seen in Leicester, which was forced into a local lockdown.
Leicester had 118 new cases per 100,000 in the week to 11th July compared to 115 cases the week before.
However many parts of the Anglia region saw no new Covid-19 cases in the week to 11th July and these include: Stevenage, East Cambridgeshire, Mid Suffolk, Uttlesford in Essex, Great Yarmouth and Babergh in Suffolk.
There has been particular concern about the rise in the number of positive coronavirus tests in the Braintree area of Essex but the county's Director of Public Health has sought to reassure local residents.
The area recorded 35 new coronavirus cases in the week to 13th July compared to six in the previous seven days.
Dr Mike Gogarty, Director of Public Health for Essex said: "I would like to reassure residents in Braintree and throughout the county, that the increase in covid-19 positive cases in Braintree is nothing to be concerned about.
"As we move into the next phase of the pandemic, and progress with the Test & Trace programme we will see spikes in cases in particular locations."
