A further patient passed away with Covid-19 at Northampton General Hospital on Monday taking the total number of deaths there to 298. Another coronavirus patient died at the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston on Sunday.

Thursday figures also included three patients who had Covid-19 mentioned on their death certificate but where no positive test was received.
