A further 14 patients die infected with coronavirus in hospitals in the Anglia region
The latest daily figures issued by the NHS reveal 14 more hospital patients have died with Covid-19 in the Anglia region taking the total 3,267.
It is the lowest daily increase in the figures since March but NHS England has cautioned that their notification system was not working correctly on Saturday and that may have had an impact on the data being submitted by hospitals.
The figures do not include those who pass away in care homes or in the community, which are published on a local level only weekly. When the data released on Tuesday is included, the regional death toll rise to more than 4,500.
