A number of events across the East of England are still being cancelled or re-scheduled due to coronavirus.
These have been announced so far.
Suffolk
Forest Live 2020 was set to feature headline performances by Jack Savoretti, Keane, Madness, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Rag‘n’Bone Man, and many others.
"Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to reschedule our concerts. Ticket holders will be contacted by their point of purchase and will be automatically refunded. We ask for your patience and understanding at this busy time.
We would like to send our deepest apologies to everyone who was hoping to see a Forest Live 2020 show. We were very excited to welcome you into forests across England to see some incredible live music. Forestry England Spokesperson "We need to make an important announcement concerning Coronavirus (Covid-19) and Red Rooster. After much deliberation and with the safety of our audience being of the utmost importance, Red Rooster 2020 has been postponed and will now take place 4-6th September at Euston Hall. This has not been an easy decision but we hope that in light of the current situation we are all facing together, you can understand this is the right way forward."
The Suffolk Walking Festival has been cancelled Credit: ITV News Anglia "Due to the changing situation regarding COVID-19 and Central Government advice surrounding events, we have today sadly decided that we have no alternative but to cancel this year’s Walking Festival. Ensuring and protecting the wellness of our team and members of the public is of paramount importance. A lot of work and effort has already been put into this year’s festival with many of the events already sold out – thank you to the team who works so hard for our festival each year. Peterborough Cathedral has postponed all of their events until the end of May Credit: ITV News Anglia "In line with all Church of England places of worship the Cathedral is, with deep regret, suspending public worship with immediate effect. This means that the daily morning and evening services, as well as all Sunday services, will be said by the Cathedral clergy on duty only without direct participation by the public. Plans are being put in place to live stream some services over the Easter period, so that people can take part from home."

Whether my small team in Norfolk who plan events such as Houghton or the larger team I work with on a daily basis in Tokyo, we have to stop and take stock. In unprecedented times we need to work together to support the healthcare workers around the world and adhere to the measures taken by world leaders and sporting governing bodies to help stop the spread of the virus to protect and save lives. I would like to thank all competitors, owners, sponsors, officials and much heralded volunteers for their continued support as we look ahead positively to 2021."
Full refunds will be issued for all tickets purchased through the box office and any payments made for trade stands.
Norfolk and Norwich Festival has been cancelled Credit: ITV News Anglia "Today Norfolk & Norwich Festival has announced the cancellation of the 2020 Festival. Following Government advice on Monday 16 March and to protect the safety of audiences, artists and workforce the Norfolk & Norwich Festival Trust has decided not to proceed with the Festival.

All of the Norfolk coastal car parks have been closed Credit: ITV News Anglia All of the Norfolk coastal car parks have been closed until further notice. These include, Runton Road in Cromer, Beach Road in East Runton, Cart Gap in Happisburgh, Beach Road in Mundesley and a few others.
"As part of its ongoing efforts in the response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), North Norfolk District Council has taken the decision to close coastal car parks with immediate effect. This follows news over the weekend of large crowds at tourist hotspots in our area despite Government advice on social distancing, and the closure of businesses and facilities which normally support visitors to these areas. We appreciate the co-operation and understanding of our residents and visitors during this time."

Northamptonshire
Wicksteed Park has closed its attractions until further notice Credit: ITV News Anglia "Following the latest Government advice we have taken the decision to close the park’s attractions until further notice. The decision has been taken in order to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and preserve the health and well-being of our customers and staff, which is of paramount importance to us. Our public open spaces will remain open for people who wish to use them to exercise, walk their pets or enjoy some fresh air but we would urge people to follow the latest health advice and take the appropriate measures to prevent the transmission of the virus."
Lee Scragg, Wicksteed Park managing director "Following the most current government advice, issued on Monday 16 March in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken the difficult but necessary decision to suspend all public performances, screenings and community activities at Royal & Derngate and Northampton Filmhouse until Sunday 10 May. Our building will not be open to the public during this time. Our team are working incredibly hard with visiting promoters, producing partners and stakeholders to understand the impact on our programme and the many individuals and organisations we work with. It is a complex and fast moving situation, as you can imagine, but the safety of our audiences and the people we work with is our number one priority."

Councillor Anna King, Northampton Borough Council Northamptonshire County Council has closed all their libraries and country parks; Brixworth, Irchester, Fermyn Woods, Barnwell and Sywell. Civil partnerships and wedding ceremonies have also been postponed.
"These are unfortunate but very necessary steps we must take to help safeguard the health of the people of Northamptonshire. We take this responsibility very seriously and while we understand that many people use these services regularly, wherever possible we have to put measures in place to support the government’s social distancing efforts and help tackle the spread of Covid-19."
