A number of events across the East of England are being cancelled or re-scheduled due to the coronavirus.
These have been announced so far.
Northamptonshire
The Crick Boat Show due to take place between 23rd-25th May has been cancelled, organisers are hoping to re-schedule.
Upton Country Park opening event set to take place on 21st March has been postponed until further notice.
Norfolk
The Wayland Show, due to take place on Sunday 3rd May, has been cancelled
It's been called off due to the new government regulations around coronavirus and for the safety of those who were looking to attend.
Norwich Games Festival due to take place 25th-30th May has been cancelled.
Pensthorpe Bird & Wildlife Fair was due to be held on 16th & 17th May
The Parent & Baby Show in Norwich, due to take place on 15th March was postponed.
The Norwich Theatre Royal cancelled last night's Les Misérables show as well as the rest of the performances until further notice.
Suffolk
West Suffolk Council will be closing its five leisure centres from 4PM Friday 20th March
West Suffolk Council has decided to close its five leisure centres in Brandon, Bury St. Edmunds, Haverhill, Mildenhall and Newmarket.
The centres are managed on behalf of the council by charitable trust Abbeycroft Leisure and the closure will take effect from 4PM Friday 20th March.
The council say they will be freezing memberships and are encouraging members to instead make use of local parks and outside spaces.
The Beowulf Festival in Woodbridge, Suffolk was due to take place on 1st - 4th May and has been cancelled.
Cambridgeshire
Cambridge Science Festival March 9th - 22nd all remaining events have been cancelled
The Centre for Computing History in Cambridge also announced that it was closing its doors until further notice.
The Boat Race due to take place on the 29th March has been cancelled. The race usually takes place between University of Cambridge and Oxford University.
Public access to Wisbech and Fenland Museum has been closed until further notice.
The Eel Festival in Ely due to take place over May Bank Holiday has been cancelled along with all Visit Ely events.
IWM Duxford is closed
Essex
This year's world famous Maldon Mud Race has been cancelled until next year. The race was due to take place on 3rd May.
Rutland
Rutland Water has closed its Lyndon Visitor Centre
Bedfordshire
Both the Bedford River Festival and the Kite & Motoring Festival have been postponed.
Bedford Borough Council will be postponing the River Festival for one year. They are hoping to arrange an alternative date for the Bedford Kite & Motoring Festival later on this year.
The Council say they will keep traders, exhibitors, local residents and businesses informed.
