A Mr Bean impersonator from Suffolk is being hailed a hero in China.
Nigel Dixon, who's from Felixstowe, has chosen to stay in the locked down Chinese city of Wuhan - the centre of the Coronavirus outbreak. Meanwhile, his videos, offering words of encouragement to Wuhan's 11 million residents, have made him an online celebrity.
Mr Dixon decided to stay in the Chinese city of Wuhan after flying there on holiday before the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
Nigel Dixon, 53, said he would not want to spread the virus to others but insisted that he was safe and happy there in a flat he has rented.
While the city is on lockdown, Mr Dixon has created a mini-series called 'Mr Pea' to document his life in the epicentre of the coronavirus in the style of Rowan Atkinson's popular episodes, such as 'Mr Bean goes to town' or 'The Trouble with Mr Bean'. He hopes to return to the UK in March.
