CCTV released of missing 75-year-old's last sighting in Norfolk

CCTV footage of a missing Norfolk woman's last sighting has been released.

75-year-old June Turner was reported missing in North Walsham on 22 October. Footage released by the police shows her near Sainsbury's in the town at around 8am on 21 October.

Over the last week, officers and dedicated search and rescue personnel have been searching for June in and around North Walsham.

Members of the North Walsham community assisted officers by handing out 'missing' posters on 28 October.

Chief Inspector Matt Dyson said: “We were very touched by the turnout yesterday and cannot thank the local residents enough for their help."

He also explained that there have been potential sightings of June since the 28th.

“Since yesterday, we have received three calls regarding separate possible sightings of June," the Chief Inspector said. "Officers are currently working through the information provided however, no new lines of enquiry have yet been identified following initial assessments."

June is described as white, 4ft 11 tall, and having short, brown permed hair.

Anyone who may have seen June, or anyone who may know of her whereabouts, is urged to contact Norfolk Police immediately on 101 quoting CAD 156 of Tuesday 22 October 2019.
