Appeal to find missing 75-year-old woman from Norfolk
Malcolm Robertson reports on the search for missing June Turner
A fresh appeal has been launched to help find a 75-year-old woman from Norfolk who went missing a week ago.
June Turner from North Walsham was last seen buying a newspaper at a supermarket garage near her home.
Police and volunteers have been handing out posters in the town in the hope of gleaning fresh information.
June was captured on CCTV at around 8am on October 21st. She bought a newspaper, later found at her nearby home.
The police say they're investigating a possible sighting later that day on Yarmouth Road.
June's about five foot tall, has Parkinson’s and her family say she has a distinctive walk.
Chief Inspector Matt Dyson, from Norfolk Police, said: “I think there's two scenarios in relation to this inquiry. One is that June's been out, she's been walking, she's had an accident or a medical episode, got into some trouble and can't call for help. In which case we become less hopeful.
“The other alternative is that June has, for whatever reason, decided to take herself away from the town for a period of time in which case we would be more optimistic."
