Douglas, Best and Coke among players released by Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town have announced that experienced midfielders Jonathan Douglas and Giles Coke will both be released this summer.

The pair are among severals players who won't be offered new deals, with the likes of Leon Best and youngsters Joe Robinson and Jacob Marsden also set to leave.

Paul Digby and Christophe Berra have already moved on.

Town are hoping to extend the stays of defenders Jordan Spence and Steven Taylor though, although any contract for Taylor will be dependant on him proving his fitness in pre-season.

Ipswich have also offered a deal to highly-rated midfielder Kundai Benyu who has reportedly been attracting interest from Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur, and goalkeeper Harry Wright could also earn a new contract.
