Adnams has planning permission to refurbish the Swan pub and to create a visitor centre and shop in the Cygnet. It has submitted another application to extend the car-park and create two-way vehicle access from Victoria St instead of from the Market Square.
But Adnams say they are improving the town by removing traffic from a narrow archway entrance to the pub and hotel

The plans will be debated by Waveney District Council. If approved work will start in January 2017
