Satellite images show devastation from deadly Los Angeles wildfires
By James Gray, ITV News Producer
Satellite images have revealed the devastating impacts caused by a series of deadly wildfires across Los Angeles.
Thousands of people have been forced from their homes, structures destroyed and authorities left to count the physical and financial cost to lives, as a result of the blazes.
The impacts of the fires, which first broke out on Tuesday, have been exasperated by adverse weather conditions, including strong winds and parched vegetation.
Observers are now beginning to understand the extent of the damage caused through satellite imagery, which has enabled a comparison of areas before and after the fires took hold.
