Politician throws ink over Albanian prime minister during heated debate
Whilst British politicians have shared Valentine's Day poems with one another in the Commons, Albania's lawmakers have expressed their feelings quite differently.
A session of the Albanian parliament was suspended after an opposition political, Edi Paloka, threw ink at the country's prime minister.
The incident happened ahead of lawmakers voting on legislation to allow newly-named North Macedonia to join NATO.
Albania's left wing government was accused of corruption during the debate, Prime Minister Edi Rama rubbished the claims.
It was at that point that ink was throw at him.
Footage shows the lawmaker being dragged out of the hall as the nation's leader sat with blue ink on his suit, chair and desk.
