A teacher in Aleppo has spoken exclusively to ITV News about life in the war-torn city, where 250,000 people live under siege.

Last week ITV News reported on a four-year-old girl who picked up a cluster bomb after mistaking it for a toy, but today it emerged that Eman had died from her horrific injuries.

The little girl's death comes as almost a hundred children have been killed in just one week by the relentless bombing of Aleppo.

Abdulkafi spoke about how the bombing of Aleppo was now commonplace, "this is how we live", he explained.

He told of the difficulties of carrying out basic human functions such as sleeping and eating while under the bombardment of shells.

The teacher explained that earlier on Tuesday a bomb fell close to where he was teaching.

Abdulkafi recounted how the class broke for around five minutes to allow the students to calm down and so that he could reassure them by "make a joke" about it. They then returned to their lessons and carried on.
