10-year-old reads new Harry Potter book in under an hour
A 10-year-old speed-reading prodigy has already finished the new Harry Potter story, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
It took Toby L'Estrange just 59 minutes to read the story, after he was challenged by Amazon to produce the first review on the site.
The schoolboy, from Wheathampstead in Hertfordshire, can read a 400-page book in under two hours using techniques he learned from his grandmother.
The latest instalment of the Harry Potter series was released at midnight on Sunday, which saw hundreds of fans swarm bookstores and attend launch events.
Toby had his copy delivered straight to his Kindle by pre-order just after midnight, and finished the book less than an hour after it downloaded.
His review will be read by Amazon customers on the site and on the Kindle, in which he gave the new book six out of ten.
"It's a really good story," he wrote. "It's a very complicated story. It happens in different times, so it's really helpful if you know all the other books and characters quite well (I do - and so does any other true Harry Potter fan).
"It's mostly about Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy - which is odd because Harry and Draco were enemies. And Harry and Albus don't see eye to eye on - well, pretty much everything.
"And I think you're going to love it."
