Jo Cox to be remembered at Sunday church services

Prayers are expected to be said for MP Jo Cox at church services across the country on Sunday.

The mother of two was killed in a street attack in her Batley and Spen constituency in West Yorkshire on Thursday. Thomas Mair, 52, has been charged with her murder.

St Peter's Church in Birstall said on its Facebook page: "We expect that we might be joined by a number of visitors as we will be responding to the sudden tragic death of Jo Cox, our MP."
