Paul Daniels tributes: 'We've lost a lovely, kind and magic man'

Stars of the TV world have paid tribute to Paul Daniels saying: "We've lost a lovely, kind and magic man".

Daniels died aged 77 after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

Keith Chegwin was one of the first to tweet, writing; "Love you and thinking of you @thedebbiemcgee. I shall miss him 'A LOT'".

Paul Chuckle, Leigh Francis and Toyah Wilcox also offered their condolences.

Magician star of ITV2's Tricked Ben Hanlin called Daniels "an absolute legend" and said he inspired him to become a magician when he saw him on TV when he was six.

Ex-Dragons Den star Duncan Bannatyne said his thoughts were with "the lovely Debbie McGee".

While documentary maker Louis Theroux said he was a "thoughtful skeptic, enemy of hucksterism and paranormal flimflam, a gifted magician."
