Adele: 'I cried pretty much all day' after Grammys sound glitch
Adele says she was so upset by her performance at the Grammy Awards she "cried pretty much all day" afterwards.
The British star sang her hit single 'All I Ask' at the ceremony, but viewers watching at home complained her performance was ruined by a noise that sounded like an out of tune guitar.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Adele revealed a couple of broken microphones caused the glitch.
Adele admitted she felt "embarrassed" by her performance, but said that if it ever happens again, she'll stop the music.
“I cried pretty much all day," she told DeGeneres. "I kept spontaneously bursting into tears. I was embarrassed. I woke up the next morning to people in England being like, 'We still love you, don't worry.'"
"Next time I have any sound issues I am gonna stop. I'll be like, 'sorry that's not working for me. If we have time to do it again, let’s do it.' Otherwise, bye!"
