Eagles of Death Metal fan ready for 'part two' of Paris concert
Video report by ITV News Correspondent Duncan Golestani
The Eagles of Death Metal's concert in Paris on Tuesday night is "part two" of the gig that was stormed by terrorists last year, a fan has told ITV News.
Cédric Rizzo was with friends at the Bataclan Theatre in Paris on November 13 when gunmen opened fire on the crowd, killing 89 concert-goers. In total, 130 people were killed across the French capital in a series of attacks.
Survivors of the atrocity were offered free tickets to the concert at Paris' Olympia and Mr Rizzo said he had been feeling mixed emotions about attending.
But he said it would be "special for everybody" and he and his friends were eager to get inside and support the band.
"For me this concert tonight is some kind of a part two of that concert that was in November," Mr Rizzo said. "We want to finish that concert."
Mr Rizzo has been to more than 20 concerts since the attack and said he has been feeling "anxious and happy" about the Eagles gig ever since it was announced.
He arrived early for the show and said he would be spending time with friends beforehand to prepare.
"We need that kind of getting ready together for this show that is so important for us," Mr Rizzo said.
"I think the band is also really eager to give this concert to us and we all need to get together for this."
The band previously took to the stage with U2 in Paris following the attack, but Tuesday night's concert will be their first official show.
The Bataclan has been closed since the attack.
