Police search for clues into Kayleigh Haywood's disappearance

Police investigating the disappearance of a teenage girl have begun searching a field seven miles from where she went missing.

Kayleigh Haywood, 15, was last seen on Friday evening when her family dropped her off at a community college in Ibstock, Leicestershire.

Two men, aged 28 and 27, have been arrested in connection with her disappearance.

This morning, a team of officers with shovels, rakes and a police dog arrived at a field near Belton.

They have been searching undergrowth and beneath a blue tarpaulin. They have also cordoned off a lay by.
