Concern grows in Germany as refugee numbers continue to rise
Concerns are growing in Germany as more than 10,000 refugees continue to arrive every day.
Chancellor Angela Merkel has welcomed the refugees but her popularity is waning as concerns grow over the influx into the country.
By the end of the year, the number of asylum seekers could reach 1.5 million - the equivalent of absorbing the population of Glasgow.
Officials in Bavaria say 225,000 have arrived in the state in the last five weeks alone.
Each new arrival is processed and fingerprinted before being sent to holding centres across Germany.
Samer Hassnou and his wife Manal are among the refugees who fled war-torn Syria and took the treacherous journey across Europe to Germany.
The family are living in a refugee camp which was built for 1,000 people but is currently holding three times that number and rising.
Concern is growing as the numbers arriving into the country continue to rise.
Rallies have been held across the country in support of anti-Islam movement Pegida.
And the Bavarian state government in Munich is threatening to take Berlinto court to stop the influx of refugees and migrants entering Germany.
Joachim Herrmann, Bavarian Interior Minister, said: "We clearly feel that the atmosphere has changed because of the huge numbers.
"The majority want to offer help but not to as many as this."
