Scrum-half Ben Youngs believes playing at Twickenham will be vital to England's challenge for the World Cup.

The tournament hosts recorded a seventh straight victory at the venue for all but one of their matches over the next seven weeks when they dispatched RBS 6 Nations champions Ireland 21-13.

"The noise against Ireland was incredible. It was electric before kick-off and it certainly gave everyone a taste of what is coming," Youngs said.

"The home crowd will be a huge factor. We want to utilise that. We want to use it as a weapon and we want to make sure teams fear that home crowd."

The defeat of Ireland concluded the schedule of three warm-up fixtures with the visit of Fiji to Twickenham on September providing the curtain raiser to England 2015.

"We are about peaking against Fiji. Don't get me wrong, it is a great win today but the ultimate goal is about when we played Ireland in pre-season," Youngs said.
