Coach Alberto Salazar: 'I will never permit doping'
Olympic athlete Mo Farah's coach, Alberto Salazar has denied allegations that he permitted doping and demanded for them to be retracted.
BBC's Panorama alleged the American coach had overseen the use of the banned anabolic steroid testosterone by Galen Rupp, Mo Farah's training partner.
In a statement on the Nike Oregon Project website, he said that he does not "use science in violation of the WADA Code" and adheres to competition and anti-doping rules at all times.
Salazar said it was "wholly unjust" that Rupp "is expected to dispel unfounded allegations, made without proof or evidence".
Following the allegations earlier this month, double Olympic champion Mo Farah, who has not been accused of wrongdoing, issued a statement saying he has never taken performance enhancing drugs and never will.
