Mo Farah: I have never taken performance enhancing drugs in my life
In response to recent doping allegations surrounding his coach, double Olympic champion Mo Farah has issued a statement in which he said: "I have never taken performance enhancing drugs in my life and I never will."
Farah's coach Alberto Salazar has denied all allegations of doping after it was claimed he had given Farah's training partner Galen Rupp the banned anabolic steroid testosterone.
Farah has spoken out after reports emerged claiming he missed two drugs tests prior to the London 2012 Olympics, at which he won gold in the 10,000 and 5,000 metres.
He added that he had spoken to Salazar, who is based in Oregon, about the matter who has reassured him that the claims are false.
The runner recently pulled out of Birmingham Grand Prix, saying he was "emotionally and physically drained" after a "very stressful week".
