James May and Richard Hammond complete filming of delayed Top Gear episodes

Top Gear episodes that were left unfinished in the wake of Jeremy Clarkson's controversial departure from the show have finally been completed.

James May and Richard Hammond filmed a series of links at the show's test track at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey earlier this week.

It is still not known whether the pair, who have reportedly being offered deals in the region of £1m, will stay with the motoring show.

In April, BBC2 controller Kim Shillinglaw, said conversations were "ongoing" with May and Hammond and confirmed scenes filmed before Clarkson was suspended were likely to air this summer.
