William Shatner's daughters to represent him at Leonard Nimoy's funeral
William Shatner has told fans his daughters Melanie and Lisabeth will be attending Leonard Nimoy's funeral on his behalf after he was criticised for being unable to go due to a charity commitment.
Shatner, who was Captain Kirk to Nimoy's Mr Spock, explained on Twitter that he had chosen "to honour a commitment" he had made to attend a fundraiser in Florida.
In a Twitter Q and A in honour of his Star Trek colleague, Shatner has been revealing some jewels of his time with the man he said he considered "a brother."
With the use of the hashtag #LeonardNimoy, it seems almost no topic was off limits.
He even gave away some behind-the-scenes secrets.
And in case you wanted to know ... yes ... he did try on the ears - but he had his own.
It seems Nimoy will always be Shatner's "Lenny".
