The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins has left the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! jungle.

Collins decided to quit today after struggling to adapt to jungle life.

"We're sorry to see Gemma go but respect her decision and wish her well," a spokesperson for the show said.

The 33-year-old suffered a panic attack before she even entered camp after becoming hysterical on a helicopter.

Collins had threatened to quit over the lack of food, claiming she was so hungry that she felt as if her "stomach will fall out".

"People who murder get treated better than this," Collins said during her stay.

"That's the truth. Even a murderer gets fed three times a day."
