The Stone Roses drummer reportedly walked off stage and went home forcing the band to cancel their encore at a gig in Amsterdam.

Ian Brown returned to the stage after the band had played their main set and told the expectant crowd "the drummer's gone home", according to NME.

The crowd were expecting an encore of I Am The Resurrection, which The Stone Roses had played at their show in Barcelona last week.

But Brown said: "I'm not joking, the drummer's gone home. Get all your aggro out on me, I can take it."

He then reportedly blasted his band mate with an offensive word.

The Stone Roses played together for the first time in 16 years at a secret gig in Warrington in May before beginning their tour.
