The Stone Roses' secret comeback gig
The Stone Roses have played together for the first time in 16 years at a secret gig in Warrington.
An announcement on the band's website led to fans rushing for free wristbands just hours before they took to the stage.
The 1,000 fans at Parr Hall had to show a piece of Stone Roses memorabilia or a ticket for one of the bands upcoming official gigs to get a wristband for entry.
The band announced that they would re-unite last year after splitting up in 1996, a year after guitarist John Squire left.
