Lucy Spraggan: 'I'm the happiest I've ever been'
Former The X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan has opened up about her battle with depression and how she's emerged from her darkest days happier than ever.
The singer, who tied the knot with her girlfriend Georgina Gordon earlier this year, says her brand new studio album, Hope You Don't Mind Me Writing, was inspired by her mental health struggles and the journey to overcome them.
''There's a lot of songs on here about mental health and coming out the other side,'' she told Lorraine.
Lucy, who will also embark on a UK tour in March, competed on The X Factor in 2012 but quit due to ill health.
I Hope You Don't Mind Me Writing is out now.
