Prince George arrives for his first day at school
We're sending lots of luck to all the little new starters at schools across the country this week! But one boy who made the headlines today was Prince George, who was accompanied by his daddy (that's Prince William - or the Duke of Cambridge - to the rest of us) as he entered the gates for the first time.
The four-year-old is starting at Thomas's Battersea, and Kensington Palace confirmed that Prince William took him all the way into the classroom. Aw. We hope Wills got to join in with some fun too. Singing time maybe?
One person that was missing from the milestone event was George's mum, Kate. However, it was recently confirmed that the Duchess of Cambridge is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which is a severe form of morning sickness, so we hope she's tucked up in bed waiting to look at all the lovely photos Wills took while sipping on soothing tea.
And when Prince George gets home from school, he can open this little surprise from today's guest, Gruffalo illustrator Axel Scheffler...
