Nominate your Inspirational Woman of the Year
Lorraine's Inspirational Woman of the Year award is a celebration of exceptional women in our everyday lives. Now in its seventh year, some remarkable winners have emerged – ‘ordinary’ women who’ve achieved the extraordinary.
Last year, inspirational mum-of-two Lizzie Jones was named Lorraine's Inspirational Woman of the Year in recognition of her life-saving work following the death of her husband from an undiagnosed heart condition. This year she’ll be passing the baton to another extraordinary woman making that all important change.
Our panel of judges selecting the three finalists this year will include Lorraine herself, Victoria Milligan and Miriam González Durántez.
So who will be Lorraine's Inspirational Woman for 2017? We are looking for women who through their kindness, hard work and determination have either transformed your life or the lives of those around you. Women who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Women who have overcome difficulties against the odds. This is your chance to give them the recognition they deserve. She might be a family member, a friend, a neighbour or a colleague. So, if there is a woman you know who has broken down barriers and brought about real change, we want to know about her!
