Falklands war hero Simon Weston shares life story
Falkland's war veteran, author and public speaker Simon Weston (CBE) joins Lorraine to talk about his brand new UK theatre tour My Life, My Story.
It's more than 30 years since Simon survived a near-fatal explosion in the Falklands war which left him with burns to almost 50 per cent of his body.
In the show Simon, 55, shares his inspirational journey from the front line of war, suffering severe body burns to turning his life around and becoming a father and grand father.
Simon endured years of re-constructive surgery, including 70 major operations or surgical procedures, but despite his terrible injuries he has raised millions for military causes.
Earlier this year, Simon received a CBE recognising his work for veterans' charities.
My Life, My Story starts in October.
