Christmas SOS: Sprouts
Love them or hate them, you've got to have brussels sprouts at Christmas! Try James Tanners' indulgent version, made with cream and chestnuts.
Ingredients:
Packet of Brussels sprouts275ml pot of whipping creme2 sprigs thyme100g cooked vac packed chestnuts
Method:
Slice the sprouts very thinly.
Blanch for 1 minute in salted boiling water.
Reduce the cream in a pan by half and add in the blanched sprouts, seasoning, chestnuts and thyme leaves
Stir for 1 minute and then serve
